Job summary

The Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc. is seeking an eClinicalWorks Analyst to support implementation, configuration, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of the eCW EHR and Practice Management system in Buffalo, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Technology or related field.
• 2+ years of experience working with eClinicalWorks EHR in a healthcare environment.
• Experience configuring Healow app ecosystem.
• Experience supporting eCW cloud migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of clinical workflows in primary care, behavioral health, and dental settings.
• Ability to create training materials and lead staff training.
• Understanding of clinical workflows, medical terminology, and quality programs.
• Proficiency with eCW reporting modules and SQL or data extraction tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Certification in eClinicalWorks or other relevant EHR training programs.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot eClinicalWorks EHR and PM systems.
• Analyze clinical and operational workflows to optimize use of eCW across departments.
• Provide support for clinical workflows, templates, order sets, and documentation tools with eCW.
• Conduct needs assessments with end-users and design customized solutions within the eCW platform.
• Customize templates, forms, and reports within eCW based on provider and organizational needs.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to ensure eCW supports patient care and compliance.
• Support system upgrades, patches, testing, and training initiatives.
• Assist in the rollout of new eCW modules and updates including Healow and eCW Messenger.
• Create and maintain training materials and conduct training sessions for providers and staff.
• Analyze data for reporting and quality improvement initiatives using eCW reports or third-party analytics tools.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to end users.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party tools integrated with eCW (e.g., labs, billing systems).
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HRSA, and other standards.
• Train new staff and develop user documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
