Job summary

Community Health Center of Buffalo Inc. is seeking an experienced eClinicalWorks Analyst to support the implementation, configuration, optimization, and maintenance of the eCW EHR/PM systems in a busy healthcare environment.

You will collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to optimize workflows, ensure HIPAA compliance, and deliver training while supporting Healow and related modules. A 2+ year track record with eCW is expected, along with strong SQL reporting skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience working with eClinicalWorks EHR in a healthcare environment.
  • Proven expertise in configuring and managing the eCW Healow App ecosystem.
  • Experience executing or supporting complex eCW cloud migration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical workflows in primary care, behavioral health, and dental settings.
  • Proven ability to create training materials and lead training sessions for staff.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, medical terminology, and quality programs.
  • Proficiency with eCW reporting modules and SQL or data extraction tools.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Certification in eClinicalWorks or other relevant EHR training programs.

  • Provide support for clinical workflows, templates, order sets, and documentation tools with eCW.
  • Conduct needs assessments with end-users and design customized solutions within the eCW platform.
  • Customize templates, forms, and reports within eCW based on provider and organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to ensure eCW supports patient care and compliance.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, testing, and training initiatives.
  • Assist in the rollout of new eCW modules and updates including Healow and eCW Messenger.
  • Create and maintain training materials and conduct training sessions for providers and staff.
  • Analyze data for reporting and quality improvement initiatives using eCW reports or third-party analytics tools.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to end users.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party tools integrated with eCW (e.g., labs, billing systems).
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HRSA, and other standards.
  • Train new staff and develop user documentation and SOPs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $60,500 - $70,000

*Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer visa sponsorship.
