Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a QA Analyst to ensure accurate data collection for billing, price changes, and customer communications. You will test promotions for Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, MarketWatch, and IBD subscriptions and support frontend development with test cases and user acceptance testing.

You will collaborate with marketing stakeholders and developers to validate interfaces and backend data, designing robust test scenarios and maintaining clear documentation throughout the subscription

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of ecommerce operations experience.
• Knowledge of ecommerce and direct-to-consumer space.
• Experience in test case creation, execution, and documentation.
• Project management skills to plan testing around releases.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Knowledge of technical infrastructure, testing, and databases.
• Experience with Agile, SQL, API testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Work with marketing stakeholders and business analysts during requirements analysis.
• Execute functional, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and enterprise applications.
• Validate user interfaces, business logic, and backend data.
• Create and manage a test framework for validating customer experience during subscription processes.
• Create and maintain documentation around test plans, results, and milestones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand impacted systems.
• Design positive and negative test cases prior to releases.
• Support releases and validate functionality pre- and post-release.
• Deliver reports and recommendations to improve QA processes.
