Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Mid-Level Ecologist to support nuclear environmental licensing nationwide, conducting reviews, data collection during site visits, and delivering clear regulatory analyses. You will interact with NRC and other agencies, prepare reports and presentations, and occasionally perform fieldwork, traveling to project sites as needed.

The role offers multiple U.S. locations including Kennesaw, GA, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of environmental consulting or related experience.
• Knowledge of ESA, NEPA, MBTA, and BGEPA regulations.
• Experience with regulatory agency interactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental reviews to assess impacts of nuclear facilities.
• Prepare environmental reports and environmental assessments.
• Develop and present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support licensing applications and conduct fieldwork as needed.
