Job summary

Parkland Health in Dallas is seeking a Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS)/ECMO Specialist to monitor ECMO circuits, troubleshoot devices, and collaborate with the care team to implement patient care plans during night shifts at New Parkland Hospital.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of critical care experience, and current RN/Perfusionist/Respiratory Therapist license; BLS/ALS/ACLS certification required. ECMO training is preferred and will be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of critical care experience.
• Experience or training in ECMO/impella/IABP preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot ECMO circuit and related devices.
• Assess patient status and ECMO parameters; adjust as directed by ECMO physician.
• Collaborate with bedside nursing and physicians to implement orders.
• Maintain documentation of data and care interventions.
• Provide ongoing oversight of mechanical circulatory support devices.
• Assist with device deployment and research data collection.
