Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking an ECMO specialist to participate in developing ECMO care plans, including assessment, planning, implementation, and education. You will work with the ECMO physician and health care team to interpret, adjust, and complete patient-focused treatment plans.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, a designated ECMO training program, and 2+ years of critical care experience, with BLS/ACLS certifications. This is a clinical, on-site role at the Dallas facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related clinical field.
• Completion of an ECMO training program or formal extra-corporeal circulation education.
• RN, RT, or perfusion credentials with applicable licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications via American Heart Association.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop ECMO treatment plan including assessment, planning, implementation, and education.
• Communicate with the ECMO physician and care team to interpret and adjust the plan.
