Job summary

Kalaya’s Destiny is a growing nonprofit focused on maternal mental health and community wellness. The role oversees Enhanced Care Management and Community Services programs, ensuring effective team management, program delivery, quality control, reporting, billing, and HIPAA-compliant operations.

Starting part-time with a pathway to full-time, the position offers a comprehensive benefits package once full-time, including health insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• 5 years of outpatient medical, community health, behavioral practice management, or related healthcare experience.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with contracts and compliance in Medi-Cal or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure program compliance with agency policies, state/federal requirements, and contracts.
• Support communication and certification procedures with managed care providers and partners.
• Build relationships with health care providers, community organizations, and government agencies.
• Oversee reporting, billing, and quality assurance with other departments.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient privacy and documentation.
