Job summary

McLeod Health is seeking an echocardiography sonographer to perform adult echocardiograms in inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings with ICAEL-guided protocols.

The role requires graduation from an echocardiography program, eligibility for RDCS/RCS/CRCS within one year, and BLS certification; the candidate will perform transthoracic, transesophageal, dobutamine and stress echo studies, including contrast and bubble studies, with accuracy and reporting of preliminary impressions.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an echocardiography program is required.
• Credential (RDCS, RCS, or CRCS) must be obtained within one year of graduation.
• BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult echocardiograms independently.
• Follow ICAEL-guided protocols across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings.
• Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, dobutamine and stress echocardiograms with contrast as needed.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
