Job summary

McLeod Health is seeking a qualified echocardiography sonographer to perform adult echocardiograms in inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings. You will work under standard ICAEL-guided protocols and report preliminary impressions.

The position requires graduation from an echocardiography program, completion of RDCS/RCS/CRCS within one year, and BLS certification. You will conduct transthoracic, transesophageal, dobutamine and stress studies, including contrast when needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an echocardiography program is required.
• Must obtain RDCS, RCS, or CRCS within one year of graduation.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult echocardiograms independently and report preliminary impressions per ICAEL.
• Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, dobutamine and stress echocardiograms; use contrast to enhance image quality as needed.
• Carry out all other duties and assignments as directed.
