Job summary

McLeod Health in South Carolina seeks an experienced echocardiography sonographer to independently perform adult echocardiograms and report preliminary impressions within ICAEL-guided protocols. Exams include stationary and portable studies across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings.

Responsibilities include performing transthoracic and transesophageal studies, dobutamine and stress echocardiograms, and using contrast or bubble studies to enhance image quality.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an echocardiography program required.
• Must obtain a credential (RDCS, RCS, or CRCS) within one year from graduation.

Responsibilities

• Performs adult echocardiograms and reports preliminary impressions as indicated within ICAEL protocols.
• Performs transthoracic, transesophageal, dobutamine and stress echocardiograms; uses contrast and bubble studies to enhance image quality.
• All other duties as directed.
