BMCHS is seeking an Echocardiographer to perform non-invasive cardiovascular testing, including echocardiograms, stress and dobutamine exams, and vascular studies. The role supports quality patient care under supervision and involves training staff and coordinating with physicians.

Applicants should have a two-year cardio sonography program or equivalent training, ARDMS eligibility, and prior echocardiography experience.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of Cardiology, Medical Terminology, basic Physics, Biology and Anatomy.
• Completion of a two-year cardio sonography program commonly required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform non-invasive echocardiography using phono-apexcardiograms, imaging duplex and ultrasound equipment.
• Position patients and operate equipment to obtain reliable data.
• Explain procedures to patients and record results.
• Interpret exams and chart graphics for physician review.
• Assist with daily workflow including portable exams.
• Perform stress and dobutamine echo examinations and vascular studies as needed.
• Maintain patient records and assist in education of technicians and students.
