Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver, CO seeks an Echo/Vascular Technician to perform ultrasound exams, ensure quality imaging, and support the clinical team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include exam coordination, patient education, and accurate documentation while maintaining safety and comfort. Certification in cardiac/vascular sonography is required; BLS is mandatory, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Echo Technologist ARDMS or CCI certification.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree; education verified by institution.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams consistent with department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams; coordinate with staff, physicians and patients.
• Educate patient and family on procedures and prepare for exams.
• Document exam results and ensure patient safety and comfort during the procedure.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and techniques.
