Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo/Vascular Technician to perform ultrasound exams under physician direction, supporting a clinical team to identify cardiac and vascular abnormalities. The role emphasizes patient safety, education, and timely, accurate imaging.

Full-time, 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays at Saint Joseph Hospital. The position offers growth opportunities, mentorship, and a collaborative environment within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Certification in cardiac or vascular sonography (ARDMS/CCI) is required.
• BLS for healthcare providers is required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution; degree will be verified.
• For higher levels: registries in vascular/sonography (e.g., ARDMS/CCI/ACS) and advanced certifications.

Responsabilités

• Perform ultrasound exams per department protocols and scheduling.
• Prioritize exams, coordinate with staff, physicians, and patients.
• Explain procedures, ensure patient safety, and transfer patients as needed.
• Document results and apply charge codes for exams and supplies.
• Mentor and educate caregivers and students; participate in quality initiatives.
