Qualifications

• Echo/vascular technologist qualifications and registry requirements.
• Certification through ARDMS, CCI, or ACS as applicable.
• BLS for healthcare providers and accredited degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams per department protocols and prioritize exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, offices, caregivers and patients.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and safety.
• Document results and code exams and supplies accurately.
• Maintain and clean equipment, stock supplies, and arrange repairs.
• Mentor and educate caregivers, fellows and students as appropriate.
