Job summary

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; education from an accredited institution.
• 1+ year of experience in echocardiography.
• ARI/ARDMS/CCI registry options may be pursued by the candidate.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams following department protocols and ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physicians, and other caregivers.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and prepare for exams.
• Document results accurately and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and work areas.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and education for staff.
