Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo/Vascular Technician to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound under physician direction. You will schedule and coordinate exams, ensure patient safety, document results, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

The role includes mentoring staff, maintaining equipment, and delivering patient education as part of a collaborative clinical team in a full-time setting.

Qualifications

• Echo Technologist I or II/III levels with ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; degree verified.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams with protocols for cardiac/vascular disciplines.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff and patients; ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document results and apply correct charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and techniques.
• Participate in quality improvement processes and training opportunities.
