Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an Echo/Vascular Technician to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, ensure safety, and coordinate care with the clinical team. The role supports physicians and staff while delivering high-quality patient care.

The position offers full-time hours (40 hours, 4/10 schedule) at Saint Joseph Hospital, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible Level II/III vascular technicians. A strong commitment to professional development is evident in ongoing education and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Echo Technologist I: ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree. Degree verified.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols; prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, physicians, and patients; educate patients and family on procedures.
• Perform ultrasound exams per related protocols and maintain patient safety.
• Document exam results and code charges for exams and supplies.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and procedural technique.
