Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo/Vascular Technician to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams under physician supervision, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes. The role includes coordinating tests, educating patients, documenting results, and mentoring staff.

The position offers full-time shifts (40 hours, 10-hour days), rotating Saturdays, at Saint Joseph Hospital. Sign-on bonus eligible for Level II/III vascular techs where applicable.

Qualifications

• Echo Technologist I requirements: ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• 1+ year of experience

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams and coordinate with medical staff and patients.
• Prioritize and schedule exams, ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document results and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment and technique.
• Support quality improvement processes and educational opportunities.
