Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include Echo Technologist certification/registry.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and ARDMS/CCI/ACS registries.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with staff and patients.
• Perform ultrasound exams following protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document results and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use.
