Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography required.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies (2-D, M-mode, Doppler) per standards.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Obtains quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images and post-exercise images quickly.
• Assists physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms while maintaining safety.
• Maintains and prepares equipment, supplies, and work areas for patient care.
• Documents preliminary reports and results in the EMR with confidentiality.
• Verifies patient identity, orders, and consents before procedures.
