Community Health Systems seeks an Echo Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies with a focus on patient safety and comfort. The role requires independent judgment to obtain high-quality images for physician evaluation.

Responsibilities include 2-D imaging, M-mode and Doppler studies, TEEs assistance, equipment prep, EMR documentation, and collaboration with cardiology teams to support accurate diagnoses.

Formación

• 1–3 years of echocardiography or cardiac sonography experience required.
• RDMS/RDCS certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform echocardiographic studies including 2-D imaging, M-mode, and Doppler recordings.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams and monitor during procedures.
• Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and work areas for patient care.
• Document preliminary reports and patient information in the EMR while maintaining confidentiality.
• Verify patient identity, orders, and consents before procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely evaluation and interpretation of studies.
• Demonstrate competency in age-specific care and adapt imaging techniques as needed.
