Northwest Health - Porter in Valparaiso, IN seeks an Echo Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures with a strong emphasis on patient safety and image quality. You will collaborate with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic imaging and timely reports within the EMR.

The position requires 1-3 years of echocardiography experience, proficiency in 2-D, M-mode, and Doppler imaging, and a solid understanding of cardiac anatomy.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography.
• Proficiency in echocardiographic imaging (2-D, M-mode, Doppler).
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies (2-D, M-mode, Doppler) per standards and physician guidelines.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during exams and monitoring.
• Assists with stress echo and Dobutamine imaging and TEEs while maintaining image quality.
