Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to adapt easily and apply guidelines appropriately.
• Registered through ARDMS or CCI; secure Echo registration within 18 months if not already registered.

Responsibilities

• Performs 2-D/Doppler/Colorflow ultrasound as directed by physician.
• Schedules patients and explains procedures.
• Positions patients and selects appropriate transducer.

Skills

Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology

Skills in operating ultrasound equipment

Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships

Teamwork and strong communication skills

Education

High School Diploma or GED required
