Northwest-Health-Porte is seeking an Echo Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies with careful attention to patient safety and image quality. You will operate ultrasound equipment, document findings in the EMR, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to support accurate diagnoses.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols, effective patient communication, and timely completion of studies.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography.
• RDMS and/or RDCS preferred; RHCS or equivalent will be considered.
• BCLS within first 7 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies (2-D, M-mode, Doppler) per standards.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Assists with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) as needed.
• Documents preliminary results in the EMR with confidentiality.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and a clean work area.
