Job summary
SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Ultrasound Sonographer with echocardiography expertise to perform 2D/3D studies, Doppler, and stress echo in the lab. Qualifications
- Graduate of an Allied Health program in Echocardiography/Cardiac Imaging.
- RDCS and/or RCS certification or ARDMS credentials required.
- BLS certification and ongoing CEU maintenance expected.
Responsibilities
- Performs ultrasound procedures and examinations following department guidelines.
- Communicates exam procedures to patient and family; obtains consent.
- Maintains accurate charting and data entry in EMR/PACS; manages billing entries.
- Supports department initiatives; participates in education and quality improvement.
