Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in Missouri to perform ultrasound imaging studies in the echocardiography lab. Qualifications

• Registered (RDCS and/or RCS).
• BLS, Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS.
• Experience in echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures according to department guidelines.
• Educate residents in the technical aspects and limitations of echocardiography.
• Communicate procedures to patients and manage their consent.

Skills

Proficiency with various ultrasound and Doppler equipment

Computer skills and use of Electronic Medical Record System

Billing studies upon end exam

Compile statistics and paperwork for Medical Records

Education

Graduate of an Allied Health program in Echocardiography/Cardiac Imaging
