SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound studies. You will perform ultrasound procedures per department guidelines, document findings, and ensure accurate billing in the EMR/PACS system.

Role requires knowledge of Doppler and various ultrasound equipment, with emphasis on patient communication, safety, and quality of care. Training and collaboration with residents and staff are expected.

Formación

• History taking before exam and understanding of exam indications.
• Communicates exam procedure to patient and family.
• Accurate entry of imaging info into EMR/PACS.

Responsabilidades

• Performs ultrasound procedures and examinations according to department guidelines.
• Completes patient billing with minimal errors.
• Supports development of new diagnostic testing procedures and training.
• Maintains safe and infection-controlled environment.
