Job summary

Air Methods Mechanics in Martinsburg, WV is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to perform inspections, repairs, and alterations on company aircraft in accordance with FAR Part 135 and internal procedures. Responsibilities include verifying part numbers, ensuring compliant maintenance documentation, and supporting safety through active participation in the SMS.

On-call work and travel may be required. Air Methods offers a $5,000 annual location stipend and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

2–5 years related experience and/or training.
FAA A&P license in good standing.
FAR 135 operations knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with procedures and regulations.
Verifies part numbers and serial numbers match documentation.
Maintains maintenance documentation to compliance standards.
Participates in Safety Management System processes.
Maintains a clean, professional work area.
Advises PIC of maintenance issues that affect airworthiness.
Requests parts to maintain inventory for prompt repairs.
Other duties as assigned.
