Air Methods in Moundsville, WV is hiring an Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on company aircraft in accordance with FARs, manuals, and internal procedures.

The role requires FAA A&P license and 2–5 years of related experience, with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and on-call duties. Strong problem solving, communication, and Ramco ERP skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2–5 years aircraft maintenance experience required.
• FAR 135 operations preferred; factory airframe/powerplant schools preferred.
• Ability to read and understand complex aviation documents (337s, SBs, ADs).
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation.

Responsabilités

• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components per procedures, airworthiness directives, SBs, ADs and FARs.
• Verifies part numbers and serial numbers against documentation.
• Keeps aircraft maintenance documentation in compliance with FARs and manuals.
• Participates in Safety Management System and ensures clean, professional work area.
• Notifies PIC of maintenance issues that would take an aircraft out of service.
• Orders aviation parts to maintain inventory for prompt repairs.
