Job summary

Air Methods is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations on company aircraft in compliance with FARs and Air Methods procedures. You will verify part numbers, ensure documentation accuracy, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while supporting 135 operations.

A&P license required; 2–5 years related experience with airframe/powerplant knowledge; willingness to travel 25–50% and be on-call nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2–5 years related experience.
• Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred.
• FAR 135 operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and repairs per procedures, directives, and FARs.
• Verify part numbers and serial numbers align with documentation.
• Ensure maintenance documentation complies with regulations and manuals.
• Support Safety Management System initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, professional work area.
• Correct safety or compliance issues as directed.
• Advise PIC of issues that take an aircraft out of service.
• Validate data in Status Reports for the aircraft.
• Request parts and supplies to maintain inventory for repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
