Job summary

Air Methods in the United States is seeking a licensed Aircraft Mechanic to maintain company-operated aircraft. You will perform inspections, repairs, and alterations in accordance with FARs, internal procedures, and maintenance manuals.

Requires 2–5 years of related experience and an A&P license. Reading 337s, SBs and ADs is essential. Willingness to travel 25–50% and participate in on-call rotations is required. RAMCO ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and 2–5 years of related aircraft maintenance experience.
• FAR Part 135 operations knowledge preferred; ability to follow procedures and directives.
• A&P license in good standing; willingness to travel 25–50% as needed.
• Experience reading and interpreting 337s, SBs, ADs and service documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, repairs, and alterations per procedures and regulations.
• Verify part numbers/serials match documentation during installation/removal.
• Ensure compliance with FARs and airline manuals; maintain clean work area.
• Advise PIC of maintenance issues affecting airworthiness; document status reports.
• Participate in SMS improvement initiatives and on-call rotations.
