Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking an Exceptional Children (EC) Teacher Assistant to support an assigned teacher and EC students. You will guide children toward IEP goals and help provide access to general education as needed, under the principal's direction.

The role requires collaborative work in a CMS environment, with responsibilities ranging from classroom supervision to data collection and instructional support in multiple school settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.

• Collect data to document student progress toward IEP goals.
• Prepare lesson materials and classroom displays for assigned classroom.
