Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 48 credit hours required.
• WorkKeys and 96 hours of in-service training acceptable.
• Completion of NC Teacher Assistant Apprenticeship Program preferred.
• One year working with EC children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Supervise students in classrooms, halls, and cafeteria.
• Support teachers with instructional activities and record-keeping.
• Help with attendance procedures and classroom organization.
• Prepare materials and learning displays for classroom.
