You will unpack, test, patch software on devices, set up equipment for deployment, and respond to customer inquiries via phone or email, ensuring professional interactions with clients at all times.

Schedule: 8-5pm or 7:30-4pm Mon- Fri (some wknd OT)

Media Riders Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Technician to assist in shipping and onsite setup of card readers. This person will need to have excellent communication skills and be productive in a warehouse setting boxing and shipping equipment. A good level of customer service experience is also desired for this role as you will be client facing at times.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

• Moves boxes from dock to secure location.
• Unpacks, cleans, tests, and performs software patching on equipment.
• Downloads devices and sets up equipment for deployment to customers.
• Responds to customer inquiries via telephone or in email regarding troubleshooting or installation.
• Responsible for maintaining professional attitude and demeanor at all times while conversing with customers. Works with client to build relationships and provide value beyond customer requests.
• Resolves customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters.
• Troubleshoots problems with malfunctioning electro/mechanical equipment or software applications and recommends corrective action.
• Documents customer information and recurring technical issues in system for tracking and trending.
• Resolves retailer concerns raised during installation and/or day-to-day operations.
• Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily Client-centric activities.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.
