Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP seeks an Electronic Billing Analyst to support the Electronic Billing Manager in managing all client billing data exchanges. You will work with clients and internal teams across offices to optimize invoicing, resolution of issues, and compliance with LEDES formats.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in billing within professional services and strong Excel skills. The role offers bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package, with a base salary range in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience in billing or professional services
• Advanced capabilities and knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement clients on applicable electronic billing systems
• Communicate client-specific requirements and timelines to Firm personnel
• Troubleshoot issues related to invoice submissions, mapping, and integrations
• Assist with timely electronic invoice submission and acceptance
• Monitor billing status and resolve delayed or rejected invoices
• Ensure compliance with LEDES and other billing formats
• Collaborate with Billing, AR, Pricing, and Revenue teams to minimize financial exposure
