Job summary

The Atlantic District in Denton, MD is seeking a Principal General Agent who will lead our local sales organization and drive growth across the Eastern Shore. This role emphasizes building long-term relationships with families and businesses and guiding a team to achieve milestones in a community-focused agency.

You will be deeply involved in mentoring producers, managing complex accounts, and collaborating with carriers to offer competitive terms.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses in Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily sales operations to ensure service standards across client interactions.
• Develop and implement regional growth strategies for Eastern Shore.
• Mentor and coach a team of producers to improve sales techniques and development.
• Manage complex commercial and personal lines accounts with high client retention.
• Collaborate with carrier partners to negotiate favorable terms and stay updated on product offerings.
• Foster an inclusive and energetic office culture that encourages collaboration.
