Job summary

Bird Electric Enterprises in the United States seeks a Regional Fleet Manager - East to oversee day-to-day performance of the East regional fleet, partnering with field operations to ensure assets are available, reliable, and properly utilized. You will lead regional fleet operations and collaborate with enterprise fleet leadership on standards, budgeting, and lifecycle management.

The role requires strong leadership, travel to regional locations, and proven ability to improve fleet efficiency

Qualifications

Minimum seven years of fleet, equipment, transportation, maintenance, or construction operations experience.
Demonstrated experience managing fleet in a field-based environment.
Experience leading people and managing operational performance.

Responsibilities

Own the overall operational performance of the East regional fleet.
Serve as the primary fleet point of contact for regional and field operations.
Ensure fleet assets are available, reliable, safe, and appropriately assigned to support business requirements.
Maintain visibility into vehicle and fleet asset assignments and ensure alignment with needs.
Monitor fleet utilization and identify underutilized or idle assets.
Provide regional input for fleet budgets, forecasts, and capital planning.
