Job summary

Illuminate USA, a solar panel manufacturing company, is expanding its sales team on the East Coast. The Sales Manager will drive growth, build strong customer relationships with developers, EPCs, utilities and distributors, and manage complex, high-value deals from engagement through contract execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Five or more years of B2B sales, account management, or business development experience.
• Experience selling solar modules or renewable energy products.
• Established relationships with solar developers, EPCs, utilities, and distributors.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex sales opportunities and negotiate agreements.
• Experience developing regional sales strategies, managing pipelines, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of the U.S. solar market, buying processes, and competition.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with revenue and profitability goals.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the East Coast territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with solar developers, EPCs, utilities, and distributors.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, presentations, pricing, proposals, negotiation, closing.
• Develop a robust pipeline and maintain accurate forecasts.
• Collaborate with leadership to set regional priorities and targets.
• Understand customer projects, timelines, and commercial needs.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Marketing to fulfill requirements.
• Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, policy developments, and demand.
• Represent Illuminate USA at meetings, conferences, and industry events.
• Maintain CRM data and report on sales performance and market feedback.
• Support post-contract relationships to drive satisfaction and repeat business.
• Travel regularly across the East Coast and to the Pataskala facility as needed.
