Thompson Tractor Company, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Sales Trainee to complete a rigorous training program and prepare for a sales territory in earthmoving equipment. The role emphasizes initiative, teamwork, and customer service, with relocation required within the Thompson Tractor territory when positions open.

A valid driver’s license is required. Through on-the-job instruction, classroom work, and e-learning, the trainee will learn product lines, participate in service and parts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Experience in sales and earthmoving industry preferred.
• Must be able to quickly acquire listed skills and competencies.

Responsabilités

• Complete the Caterpillar Foundational Sales Certification.
• Attend instructor-led Service Training courses.
• Work in shop, field service, parts counter and warehouse.
• Develop knowledge of Caterpillar product line.
• Assist in collection of past due invoices.
• Monitor product performance and competitive activity.
• Provide liaison between customer, TTCo, and vendors.
• Establish and maintain relationships with coworkers.
• Negotiate settlements on customer complaints.
