Job summary

Thompson Tractor Company is seeking a Product Support Sales Representative to maximize parts and service sales within an assigned territory. You will assist in selling new equipment, promote Customer Value Agreements, and maintain accurate customer records while coordinating with TTCo and vendors.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or higher, experience in parts or service operations, and the ability to learn required skills quickly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Experience in parts or service operations and knowledge of earthmoving industry preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn required skills and competencies; basic typing and PC skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maximize parts and service sales in assigned territory.
• Assist with sale of new equipment.
• Sell Customer Value Agreements and maintenance programs.
• Maintain accurate customer data records.
• Assist in collection of past due invoices.
• Monitor and report product performance and competitive activity.
• Provide liaison between customer, TTCo, and vendors.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers.
• Follow up on past repairs to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Inform customers on status of repairs.
• Negotiate settlements on customer complaints.
• Log opportunities, manage leads, and log calls in CRM.
