Job summary

JCPenney in Aurora, Illinois is seeking an Operations Associate to create an outstanding customer experience by performing store operations before opening. This early morning role works with a team to prepare the floor, unload merchandise, price and sign items, and ensure shelves are stocked.

You will contribute to omnichannel efforts, follow merchandising plans, and maintain backroom standards while learning from peers.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail experience.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced store environment.
• Willingness to work early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service – assist customers with questions and requests.
• Executes pricing and signing across merchandise.
• Replenish and restock store to maintain stock levels.
• Receive and unload merchandise with teammates.
• Maintain backroom standards: safe, clean, organized.
• Support Omnichannel efforts including Buy Online Pickup in Store and ship from store.
• Execute merchandising plans and ensure visual standards.
• Participate in a learning environment to absorb training material.
