Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a frontline Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day package sortation and staff, ensuring safety and efficiency within the Safety Above All Culture.

You will hire, coach, train and evaluate employees, manage administrative processes, and ensure compliance with FXG policies and governmental regulations while maintaining high service quality. The position is based in Pottsville, PA, with a 5-day week and a 3 AM–11 AM shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate’s Degree in related area or 2+ years of college courses towards a degree.

Responsibilities

• Champions FedEx Safety Above All Culture and related initiatives.
• Hires, coaches, trains, recognizes, evaluates, and manages staff performance.
• Plans and directs day-to-day operations.
• Assigns and manages staff for safe, efficient sortation and equipment movement.
• Analyzes performance and drives improvement actions.
• Leads daily meetings and communicates updates and goals.
• Participates in employee relations and safety programs.
• Trains new employees on duties, performance, and FXG policies.
• Mentors and develops critical skills in new supervisors.
• Adaptable leadership with urgency and staff engagement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
