Job summary

Paris Baguette North America in Bethesda is seeking enthusiastic and responsible bakers to join our growing family. Available shift starts from 2:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

Starting pay is $16 per hour for full-time roles. You will learn to proof, shape, and bake bread from frozen dough per Paris Baguette specs, operate ovens and dough equipment under supervision, and maintain production schedules while upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

• 0 to 6 months bakery or kitchen production experience (training provided).
• Food Handler Certification (or within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 6+ hours.
• Reliable attendance and basic English literacy.
• Willing to learn, no prior baking required.
• Follow Paris Baguette specs to proof, shape and bake bread from frozen dough.
• Operate ovens, proofer, and dough sheeter under supervision.
• Maintain production schedule and logs.
• Clean and sanitize equipment; follow allergen protocols.

Knowledge And Responsibilities

Baker Assistant - Starting at $16 per hour

• Knowledge on food producing process, sanitization, quality program
• Knowledge on food producing technique, food microbiology, and food sanitary safety practice/procedure
• Food safety, food labeling, nutrition related knowledge (include FDA)
• Confectionery/Foods major recommended
• Food Handler’s Certificate
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task
