Job summary

Paris Baguette North America in Georgetown, TX is seeking a dedicated Baker to join our fast-paced bakery. You will bake bread, pastries, donuts to spec and schedule, operate ovens and fryers, and help train new bakers.

This hands-on role suits early risers who value cleanliness, teamwork, and hospitality. Experience in bakery production, ServSafe knowledge preferred, and a willingness to grow into lead baker or trainer roles.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in bakery production.
• Familiarity with baking techniques, recipe execution, and production timing.
• Knowledge of food safety, labeling and sanitization practices.
• ServSafe Food Handler's Certification preferred.
• Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Strong teamwork, organization and communication.
• Positive energy and hospitality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake all bread, pastries, donuts, and desserts to spec and on schedule.
• Operate ovens, dough conditioners, and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Handle prep tasks: scaling, shaping, topping, and finishing product.
• Monitor bake times, temperatures, and product appearance for consistency.
• Maintain a clean, food-safe, and well-organized back-of-house station.
• Rotate and stock ingredients, checking for quality and freshness.
• Complete production logs, waste tracking, and usage sheets.
• Flag equipment or supply issues to the General Manager.
• Support the team with flexibility and urgency to meet daily goals.
• Help train new bakers in recipes and methods as needed.

What You Bring
