Job summary

Madison Park Academy Lower Campus Elementary in Oakland, CA is seeking an Early Literacy Tutor to support TK–2 students with focused reading instruction. This part-time role covers 3–6 hours per day under a 0.40–0.80 FTE arrangement and requires a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Ability to navigate online databases and e-mail daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide reading instruction for TK–2nd grade students.
• Attend SEEDS literacy trainings and coaching sessions.
• Collaborate with Lead Teacher Coach and Principal to plan and monitor progress.
• Record student progress and program data in an online database and/or Excel.
• Maintain timely timesheets and participate in site trainings.
