Job summary

Early Learning Corps in partnership with Ampact is seeking an Early Learning Tutor to support pre-kindergarten students in the classroom, helping build early literacy and math skills through proven activities and coaching.

You’ll work with a classroom teacher, engage children through conversations, reading, singing, and play, and track progress with on-site coaching and regular feedback.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email and online navigation).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with community.
