Job summary

Ampact through the Early Learning Corps is seeking an Early Learning Tutor to support pre-kindergarten students in building literacy and numeracy skills. You’ll work with a teacher to deliver proven activities, coached step-by-step, in a classroom setting.

As part of AmeriCorps, you’ll contribute to a mission-driven program with bi-weekly pay. This role emphasizes growth through coaching and community engagement, supporting students during daytime school hours.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable with good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and use feedback for improvement.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English: speaking, reading, writing.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support reschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet with on-site coach.
• Enter student scores into tracking software.
