Job summary

Ampact seeks an Early Learning Tutor to work in a pre-kindergarten classroom, delivering proven activities and coaching students to build early literacy and numeracy skills. You will collaborate with a teacher to enhance learning through talking, reading, writing, singing, or play, and receive guidance from an on-site coach.

Scheduled for the 2026-27 year, part-time options are available. Training and growth opportunities are provided by the program and organization.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email and online navigation).
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with community.
