Job summary

Ampact is seeking an Early Learning Tutor for the 2026-27 school year to work in a pre-kindergarten classroom. You will implement proven activities, coach alongside a teacher, and support children’s early literacy and math skills.

You will interact with students through speaking, reading, writing, singing, and play, aiming to build confidence and a love of learning. Training and coaching will be provided to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (like email).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with community.
