Job summary

Early Learning Corps, powered by AmeriCorps and administered by Ampact, seeks an Early Learning Tutor to support pre-kindergarten students in a classroom setting. You’ll deliver proven activities, coach students, and help build early literacy and math skills under teacher guidance.

Expect to work with a supportive coach, participate in training, and contribute to a program reaching hundreds of young learners. Part-time options are available; full-time positions run 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Dependable with good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into tracking software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with the community.
